The Veteran Resilience Program is designed to help Veterans build practical skills that support resilience both during and beyond the program. Through mindful movement, breathwork, meditation, and evidence-informed resilience practices, participants learn simple techniques that can be integrated into everyday life.
Every session is delivered in a trauma-informed environment that emphasizes safety, respect, and personal choice. Whether managing daily stress, navigating life transitions, or strengthening long-term wellbeing, participants leave with tools they can continue using independently.
Every Healing Wings For Warriors program is built on The Resilient Methodâ˘, our proprietary trauma-informed framework that integrates mindful movement, breathwork, meditation, and evidence-informed resilience practices to help Veterans build practical resilience skills they can continue using independently for life.
The Resilient Method⢠combines six complementary practices that work together to strengthen resilience, improve nervous system regulation, and develop practical skills for everyday life.
Evidence-informed breathing techniques that support nervous system regulation and stress recovery.
Gentle, intentional movement that improves body awareness, mobility, balance, and nervous system regulation.
Guided meditation practices that strengthen attention, emotional regulation, and present-moment awareness.
Practical tools that strengthen adaptability, emotional regulation, and confidence for everyday life.
Evidence-informed practices that help regulate the nervous system, improve emotional resilience, and support a greater sense of calm in everyday life.
Connect with others in a respectful, trauma-informed environment that encourages shared experience, accountability, and mutual support.
This program is designed for Veterans seeking practical tools to improve resilience, reduce stress, and strengthen emotional well-being in a safe, trauma-informed environment.
No previous yoga, meditation, or fitness experience is required. Every session is adaptable, welcoming, and focused on building skills that participants can continue using long after the program ends.
Participants are expected to attend all eight weekly sessions and practice simple techniques between classes to get the greatest benefit from the program.
